The enthusiasm surrounding Big Data compelled businesses, particularly those with outdated systems, to enhance their software or face becoming outdated.

Gotham handles data sourced from governmental or law enforcement origins, such as crime reports or subpoenaed social media data, extracting pertinent information. Clients are required to supply their own data; Palantir does not provide any.
